Industrial Rubber

Aros Industripartner offers a complete range of rubber sheeting and cellular rubber sheeting for industrial applications where abrasion resistance, sealing performance, vibration damping and chemical resistance are critical. Our main suppliers are Continental and Trelleborg, ensuring high quality, long service life and traceability throughout the entire supply chain.

We stock several thicknesses and grades and can also supply materials with fire classification EN 45545-2, adapted for the rail, automotive and transport industries.

We also offer cellular rubber sheeting in various densities and hardnesses, including from Nitto, EPDM and chloroprene/CR, ideal for sealing, insulation and damping.

Rubber sheeting

Standard grades

SBR – Styrene-butadiene rubber
A cost-effective, all-round material with good mechanical strength. Suitable for general gaskets, wear sheets and industrial components.

NR – Natural rubber
Very high elasticity and exceptional abrasion resistance. Ideal for dynamic applications where shock absorption and flexibility are required.

Oil-, fuel- and chemical-resistant grades

NBR – Nitrile
Resistant to oils, fuels and grease. Commonly used in hydraulics, machinery and the automotive industry.

HNBR – Hydrogenated nitrile
High temperature resistance and first-class chemical resistance. Suitable for demanding environments in the energy and automotive industries.

FKM / Viton®
A premium choice with exceptional resistance to chemicals, solvents, fuels and high temperatures. Used in harsh industrial environments.

Weather-, ozone- and temperature-resistant grades

EPDM – Ethylene propylene rubber
One of the best rubber grades for outdoor use. Excellent ozone, UV and weather resistance. Also available as cellular rubber.

Silicone (VMQ)
Remains flexible in extreme cold and withstands high temperatures. Common in the food, electronics and medical technology sectors.

Special grades

CR – Chloroprene (Neoprene®)
A weather-resistant material with good mechanical properties. Also available as cellular rubber.

Butyl (IIR)
Superior air and gas tightness. Used for membranes, seals and vibration damping.

Hypalon / CSM
Very good resistance to chemicals, UV and weather. Long service life in demanding environments.

Antistatic and conductive rubber sheeting
Developed for electronics, ATEX zones and environments where static electricity must be controlled.

Para rubber / wear rubber 40–60 Shore
For shock absorption, protection, wear lining and heavy industrial applications.

Cellular rubber

We supply several types of cellular rubber with different density, structure and hardness:

EPDM cellular rubber – excellent weather resistance, ideal for sealing in outdoor applications.

CR / Neoprene cellular rubber – combines good weather resistance with moderate oil resistance.

Nitto cellular rubber – high-quality material for advanced sealing, vibration damping and insulation.

Cellular rubber is available with both closed-cell and open-cell structures, depending on requirements for water absorption, compression or sealing.

Hot vulcanization in vacuum oven

Vulcanisation in a vacuum oven – highest quality for large and small parts

In our large vacuum oven, we can vulcanise parts with dimensions up to 1.4 x 4 metres. The vacuum process ensures that all oxygen is removed, resulting in controlled vulcanisation with very high and consistent quality.

We also work with hot vulcanising presses in sizes from 200 to 1200 mm, ideal for vulcanising belts, mats and other rubber components.

However, the most common method is cold vulcanisation, where we specialise in joining materials with long durability, high precision and maximum adhesion.

With our extensive equipment and specialist expertise, we can offer reliable vulcanisation for a wide range of industrial applications.

Rubber processing

Cutting, grinding and milling rubber – high quality and broad production capacity

We cut, grind and mill rubber in various grades, enabling us to manufacture a wide range of customised rubber products. With our modern equipment and long experience, we ensure high precision and consistent quality in every part.

We produce, among other things:
Large membranes
Spigots and sleeves
Liners for dumpers
Wear rubber components

Custom rubber components for industrial requirements

Whether it concerns single prototypes or larger series, we deliver rubber products with high abrasion resistance, durability and functionality for demanding applications.

Water cutting with water and abrasive

Waterjet cutting of rubber – from small gaskets to large parts

We have the capacity to cut rubber using two advanced waterjet cutters, making it possible to produce everything from small gaskets to larger and more complex rubber parts.

Today, waterjet cutting has largely replaced traditional die cutting, thanks to its high precision, flexibility and material-friendly processing.

Abrasive waterjet cutting is used for thick or hard rubber materials.
Pure waterjet cutting is used for thinner or softer rubber parts, where gentle processing is essential.

The method provides clean cuts, minimal heat impact and the ability to cut complex geometries with high repeatability – perfect for both prototypes and series production.

Linings where wear is a problem

Wear protection and vibration damping – customised rubber solutions for demanding environments

If you are experiencing wear issues, for example in dumper bodies, we can help you develop customised rubber solutions that effectively reduce abrasion and extend the service life of your equipment. We work with several different rubber grades and always select the material that best meets the application’s requirements.

An important part of our solutions is also to minimise noise levels and create a quieter working environment, which is particularly valuable in heavy industry and the transport sector.

In the event of vibration issues—which are common in electric vehicles where electrical components and electronics are located close to, for example, the body—we can develop custom rubber parts that damp vibrations and protect sensitive components.

Through our expertise in wear protection, noise reduction and vibration damping, we provide high-performance, durable and customer-specific solutions for demanding industrial environments.
